APOSTOLOS PAUL KARAKANTAS Of 2412 Eighteenth street, proprietor of Paul’s restaurant, died at 12:05 o’clock Friday morning at his home, after an extended illness.

Mr. Karakantas had been ill for some time and was a patient in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburg, from September until early this year when he was returned to his home.

He was born in Greece Jan. 3, 1897, a son of Thomas and Catherine Karakantas. Mr. Karakantas had been engaged in the restaurant business for the past 30 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Connie (Tarris) Karakantas, and three sons, Theodore, Stephen, and Crist, all of the city.

He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. Friends are being received at the home.
